This is probably the simplest and easiest brownie recipe in the world as it only uses 3 ingredients, just like the Nutella cookies that I made with my girls last year.
Ok… so the Nutella cookies weren’t exactly my favorite (they were a little hard), but these Nutella brownies are! They turned out so yummy – fudgy and chocolatey with a crispy crust, just the way I like it.
I still couldn’t believe that all it takes to make this yummy brownies are these 3 ingredients:
1 cup Nutella
10 tbsp all-purpose flour
Grease a 10 x 10 baking pan. Set aside.
In a large bowl, mix all of the ingredients and beat using a hand mixer until smooth. I read that if you want a crusty, crispy brownie top, you should beat the batter longer. I totally did that.
Then pour the batter into the greased baking pan. Bake in the oven at 180ºC for 20-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Once baked, let the brownies to cool completely before cutting them.
You can then eat them just like that…. or add some toppings. Totally worth the extra couple of ingredients!
Spread some Nutella on top of each brownie square and sprinkle with chopped walnuts or whatever nuts you like, and chocolate chips (I used milk chocolate chips but I might try semisweet chocolate chips next time as Nutella already has that milky chocolatey taste).
Place the brownies on a baking tray and bake them again for just 5 minutes.
And that’s all it takes to make this decadent dessert.
