I almost had a heart attack when I saw this yesterday.
You see that???
My girls scribbled the wall in the room downstairs with markers. MARKERS. I thought this crayon scribbles was bad enough. But this is even worse. A lot worse!
I left them downstairs with the part-time cleaner (who was cleaning the kitchen at that time) while I sorted out my stuff in our room. I must have left them for quite some time, altho it only felt like 10 minutes or so. I did notice that my girls were suddenly quiet (they were singing and dancing in front of the TV earlier) so I thought, ok maybe they were tired already. I should have known that if kids are suddenly quiet, they are surely up to something! Mesti ada “project” punya. Gahhhh! >_<
My first reaction when I saw their artwork was, “OH MY GODDDD”. And then I looked closely and noticed the tiny details and how much effort it must have taken them to do it. One of them drew dotted line on two walls and then traced them, while the other one just scribbled everywhere. I burst out laughing. It was actually quite hilarious!
I Facetime-ed with my husband right away and showed the walls to him. He didn’t find it funny tho. Haha.
I told Ayra that it was not a nice thing to do, scribbling walls. But she thought it looked nice and that it was okay to scribble with the markers because apparently, it’s not our markers. “It’s not your marker. It’s Tok Lid marker. Huhh!”. (My girls call their grandpa Tok Lid by the way).
My parents-in-law are coming back for a short holiday this weekend and let’s see what they have to say about this artwork done by their beloved granddaughters! 😛
