Long Weekend

What weekends mean to me = lots of eating + shopping! :P

Here are a few shots taken with my iPhone (and Instagram) of what we did last weekend.

Went to Ikea because I wanted to get some of the Stuva storages for my girls but they were out of stock! So disappointed. We came late in the evening, maybe that’s why. We ended up eating hotdogs and ice-creams instead. But the girls had fun. They just lovee going to Ikea!

Wearing Kardashian smoke print dip top, Zara pants, Guess wedges and a shawl I got from one of the bazaars in Giant (I buy most of my shawls there, besides on FashionValet)

Had one of my favorite desserts at The Apartment – Baked Chocolate Pudding. Warm, chocolatey goodness!

On Saturday, we went to The Gardens/Mid Valley. My husband took the girls to Borders while I went shopping on my own for a couple of hours. A little me time, just what I needed! :D

Had lunch earlier that day at Mahbub. Man, the best Briyani I’ve ever tasted! I’m salivating as I’m typing this >_<

Messaged my sister, “Cepat reply! Is this Zara jacket ok on me?”. She said no. Haha. Jujur betul ni.

White shirt and jeans from MNG, bow wedges from Betsey Johnson and scarf from Tie Rack.
My girls are wearing dresses from babyGap and ballet flats from Cotton On Kids.

Had an event on Sunday with my sister, Wani, and we later hung out at Pavilion.

I wonder why Zara don’t carry size US 7 (they don’t, right?). This is me wearing size US 7.5 and even after putting gel cushions, they are still a tad too big. I had to walk slowly and carefully. But I still love them anyways.

Treated Wani to a belated birthday dinner at Ichiban Boshi. She ordered everything salmon!

And then we went for a cuppa tea at TWG.

I swear there are at least 300 types of teas in the menu!

We ordered Creme Brule tea, a few pieces of macarons (rose, caramel, praline and passionfruit + coconut) and chocolate fondant. The desserts were nothing to shout about (I think the passion fruit + coconut macaron tasted somewhat like chicken), but the tea is nice.

I made spicy chicken and spinach pita pizza for lunch yesterday. I’ve blogged about the recipe here, but I used different toppings – sauce from this recipe, chicken Masala and chopped spinach. Best pizza topping I’ve ever made so far.

Went grocery shopping, then later took the girls to indoor playground at Sunway Pyramid.

Ayra’s top is from babyGap, leggings from Gymboree. Raina’s top is from Gymboree, leggings from Old Navy.
My girls totally rocked the leopard print! Heh.

Hope you guys had a great weekend with your family and loved ones!
